Oregon trees are so crazy! I love it! Dear Family and Friends! This week has been super busy. We had district meeting and the chance to watch President Monson funeral. It was such a neat experience to be able to watch that,  to remember the qualities about Thomas S. Monson. I remember his big smile and the time he wiggled his ears in conference. I remember being a youth and having the chance to wave to him through the window. Just to be in his presence the spirit was so strong and you knew he was a prophet of God. My testimony of the prophet grew as I read his biography a few years ago and reading about how he served those around him from such a young age. Right now is a perfect opportunity to Kneel and pray to receive revilation about the new prophet so that we each can sustain and support him. Please don't miss out on the opportunity to have the spirit testify that to you. We also had a 9 to 9 as a zone. Which means we knock on doors and find people to talk to f...

Sister Leavitt in Cottage Grove Oregon Dear Family and Friends! As you know on Tuesday I got my new companion Sister McArthur. Now this Sister is on FIRE! But before I get into that I just wanted to share how amazing transfer day was because I was able to see Sister Datwyler my Trainer before she died. (which is a term missionaries use when a missionary goes home from their mission) It made my day we just hugged and cried and I told her that I didn't know how she put up with me the first 12 weeks on my misison but we laughed about it. She is the best trainer ever and she will be missed. I was also able to see Sister Fiagle who I was in the MTC with.  I hadn't seen any of my MTC sisters since I got out here.  OK now about my Companion how she is on fire! Everyone kept asking me if I was excited to be with her and I just kept saying "I don't know her but I hope she is ready to work because I'm ready to k...

Family and Friends!  I can't believe how fast time goes. It has been a fast 6 weeks as transfers are tomorrow. I am staying here in Cottage Grove but my Trainee Sister Evans who has only been here 6 weeks is going to Klamath Falls. I will be getting Sister Cassandra McArthur. She is from South Jordan UT. She has only been out for a few months. Its kinda funny I've only had one companion so far that has been out longer than me and that was my trainer Sister Datwyler. Sister Datwyler actually goes home this week so that's kinda sad. Hope I can see her one more time before she fly's to Utah.  This Week! we had a lesson with Phil and went over the baptism interview questions with him he is struggling giving up coffee but he has committed to give it up and be baptized on February 3rd. His wife Carol is having a really hard time with her health and Satan is surly trying to push hard on them as his scooter he rides broke down on his way to church and he couldn'...
