Sisters out to lunch! Sister Leavitt, Sister Mousser, Sister Neeley, Sister Castaneda Family and Friends!  Transfer News: Sister Mousser and I are staying together another transfer in Beacon Hill! I am so excited because I felt like time went by way to fast so I'm so greatful that we have another 6 weeks together. Most of our zone is staying the same as well. We only have 3 people changing so that's pretty weird. But it will be great!   This week has been a blast! The Lord has just been placing us right where we need to be.  This week we were out knocking on doors and we weren't really having many conversations with people and I began to wonder why we were on that street. When suddenly a car pulled up to us and called to us! I then realized it was Joe! His daughter wants to learn more about the gospel and we stopped by a few weeks ago to meet her and Joe talked with us for a bit. So when he pulled off to the side of the road he told us how he is going thro...

Sister Leavitt & Sister Mousser Family and Friends!  Well it's only been a few days since I wrote last but it's been a good couple days. So Thursday was our temple trip! Sister Sharp is so amazing we went and had lunch and then we went to the temple. The temple is everything I needed this past week. I went in with many questions and I was greatful for the time I was able to sit and ponder upon them. I had an amazing experience where a sweet old lady was going through the temple for her first time. She was baptized about a year ago and her health has gone done since. She is losing her memory and she was so scared she wouldn't remember the experience she had. But I have never seen someone so beautiful. The light just radiated off of her.  After the temple Sister Sharp took us to get ice cream! It was a blast! Saturday was a long day! But a fantastic day! We did a Zone 10-9 which is when we go trating from 10am to 9pm! So in the morning we got together as a z...

Zone Temple Trip Family and Friends!  Lots to catch you up on. Hope I can remember everything I did. We have stayed super busy and we are not slowing down. This transfer is just flying by.  So on the 6th we had MLC. Which stands for Missionary Leadership Council. It was my first time going and it was so much fun!!! So many of my past companions were there, like Sister Allred and Sister John! We were able to council all togther of how to help the mission improve and what things we can do. What a huge blesisng it is to see that side of missionary work!  Sister Allred & Sister Leavitt One part I really loved about MLC was goal setting and planning. We talked about how we as missionariesare are really good at setting goals and making plans but we need to have a vision. It's the process of what why and how.  Vision --- why  Goals ---- what  Plans ---- how  A quote they shared that I really loved was "Leadership is the capa...

Dear Family and Friends!  What a good week! We have been able to contact so many people that we haven't been able to do in a while so hopefully that means lots of lessons for this upcoming week. So next week we will have p day of Thursday due to the temple trip. Just thought I would let you all know ahead of time.  This week we had a lesson with Lila. She is the cutest old lady ever! We asked her if she prayed about being baptized on April 7th and she said she did. She feels She just needs to make up her mind and do it. Sister Hopson from the ward came with us and it was perfect. She helped Lila get excited about being baptized making plans of who she would invite and the people she knows in the ward. Then they picked out songs to sing and sister Hopson is going to bring cupcakes. The whole program was pretty much figured out by the end if the lesson.  We had exchanges with the sisters this week. Sister CastaƱeda and I were together in our area. It was my ...
