Hey Family!  Not sure if I'll have lots of time today to email because we are heading off to Eugene. It's been such a fun crazy week. I think I blinked one to many times. It's been eventful with Halloween and being mistaken as trick or treaters. We had a blast going to the Aurduals (our ward mission leaders house) where his wife decorates the inside and outside of her house. We also went to the Johnston's who made us homemade rootbeer! We ate lots of food and had a good time dancing to our Christian music until bed time.  This week we had lots of lessons, we met with Barbara and Nick and taught about the priesthood. He is super excited to recieve the priesthood and Barbara is working on getting her recommend for the temple!  This week I was fighting off being sick but the Lord has provided for me each day and we've still been able to work.  On Saturday we had a family history day where Sister Denison and I helped people sign up and get accounts. It was...

The leaves are changing and it's absolutely beautiful!  Hey Family!  Can you believe Halloween is  tomorrow ? Where did October go? I'm still waiting for my summer. I have worn a sweater everyday since I arrived here on the coast about 5 months ago. I'm so excited to be staying here in North Bend. I love the people and this last week we have seen so many miracles!  As you know I said bye to Sister Davis on Tuesday but I know I will get to see her next week so that wasnt to bad. The hard part was seeing some of my other friends that I know I will not be seeing before I leave the mission. There are so many Sisters here that I love so much. I picked up Sister Denison this week and man do I already love this girl so much! She is amazing! She is a hard worker and we have been going super hard this week. Like running door to door in the pourin...

Cody's Baptism Monday night was Codys baptism! The Elders in our ward were teaching him but I loved being able to watch his progression as well. He comes to church each week super excited to be there. He is such an example to me of being truly converted to the Gospel. I remember a few weeks ago when He walked into the church and the Elders said hi to him and Cody says hi and walks right past them. Hahaha its the best feeling as a missionary when someone your teaching doesnt need you at church because the members have fellowshiped them into the ward. Truly one of the best feelings! That night Sister Davis and I had a miracle moment. Before we went out tracting I felt impressed to write inside the front cover of the Book of Mormon I had. It came so clearly to me what to write "His arm is stretched out still, He needs you!" So we began knocking on doors it was pretty late and this man answers. He calls to his mother in the back room and she comes out to talk ...

Exemplary Saints! -October 15, 2018

Hey Family!  Looking back through my journal and what happened this week, we did quite alot but it feels like it was weeks ago. Time is so different on the mission. You are able to fit so many more activities in one day. They go by so fast but at the end of the night you feel like that morning was years ago.  We met this lady Hether this week. I love Hether! She opened the door and we had asked if she ever spoke with missionaries. "Yes." She replied "but they dont usually like what I say."  "Oh well what do you usually say?" I replied  Hether looked at us and said firmly "that I dont believe in God."  Not sure how the rest of the conversation happened but we came to find out that Hether does believe in God she just has alot of anger at Him for taking her mother from this world. She feels like God doesnt answer her prayers and with many tirals on her shoulders she feels weak. We were able to teach Hether how to pray and when she too...
