Revin' up for a home delivery! 12/03/2018

Hey Mom!  Thanks so much for sending me baptism pictures! That means alot to me.  Question: am I able to put my blow dryer and curling iron in my carry on bag? I just don't want to have trouble going through security.  Do Lexie and Lainee have basketball games I can go to this week?  Thank you for your uplifting and encouraging words. I definitely have learned so much serving a mission. It's going to very hard for me to leave. But I'm excited to spend Christmas with you as well.  When I gave Presidnt and Sister Orton their gift they opened the card first and Presidnt struggled to say under his breath "it must be pay day." It meant alot to him. Thank you for sending that gift. I wrote my testimony as well and gave it to them. They truly are the best! I'm sorry to hear about your car problems glad you were able to figure it out.  The girls sound like they are staying busy and working hard. That's cool to hear Lexie has been playing varsity as well.  I ca...

THE BOOK IS ALWAYS BETTER!!! -January 22, 2018

Dear Family and Friends! What a week I have had here. We have got mocked, made fun of, laughed at, doors slammed in our face and a lady yelling at us to get off her doorstep. And to top it off I have lost my voice but that doesn't stop me from proclaiming the message of the gospel! We have also seen so many miracles this week as well. After starting our night off strong in cottage by being Bible bashed we headed to Eugene to hand out Books of Mormon at the Book of Mormon play. What a fun experience! We walked down the sidewalks passing out books as people laughed at us and as they quoted jokes from the play....haha not funny. Some of the people kept telling us to come out of charter. Anyways I have never been so outgoing in my life! We walked with people and smiling just being super excited and telling people the "Book is always Better!"  Over the course of the days we handed out 3000 Book of Mormons! It was pretty neat to see the desire in peoples eyes of t...

Brookings, Bruises and Babies! November 26, 2018

Sister Bodtcher and I  Hey Family!  The beginning of the week we had exchanges with the Brookings sisters. I was with Sister Bodtcher and we had alot of fun together. It was good to be able to talk to her about goals in life and the next step. On our drive back to North Bend we stopped by and saw our senior couple the Williams. The Willams actually served a mission with Brenda and Ron Myers from my home ward. They know him the same way I do as the racoon man. Lol  I guess Ron carried a Raccon around with him in his mission.  Elder and Sister Williams  On Wednesday this week we were doing morning excerise and I twisted my foot pretty bad.  I attempted to "walk it off." Lol But when I got back to the apartment I couldn't walk at all. After studies I finally called the Nurse and after much icing and elevation I went into the doctors. They did an xray and thankfully my foot is not broken. I was told to not walk on it for a few days which was ...

18 Months In Oregon! November 19, 2018

The hotel apartment (my 18 month mark day Nov 17) Hey Family and Friends! It's been a pretty eventful week. I have been out on my mission now for 18 months! It's crazy at the beginning of the mission you never think the day will come. It's been a Fantastic week. This week was my last Zone conference. Sister Denison and I were asked to teach about setting goals! We decided to take a cooking theme and bake muffins one with extra salt not following a recipe and one with a recipe. We need plans to get the right outcome. It was probably one of the best teaching statements I've ever done at zone conference. Although we didn't have much time to prepare the Lord lead us to what we needed to do and say.  When it is your last Zone Conference, President Orton usually asks you to share your testimony. I had no idea what I was going to say but when President Orton asked me to go and a scripture instantly flew through my mind. "Submit cheerfully to all the ...

I love more people more deeply more then I ever thought I would! Family and Friends!  Now is the time of many changes is the church and for the Northwest region there have been some changes in the missionary work schedule. But before I get into that exciting news..... On monday we headed down to Eugene as Sister Denison had a doctor's appointment. But that made for a great day for us. We went shopping and of course had to stop by our favorite place, Trader Joe's!! You know I had to get some of that cookie butter and pretzels! We also we able to get yumm bowls. I know many of you don't know what that is because it's totally a Eugene Oregon thing. But it's so good!  I'll try and bring there sauce home.  So the rest of our day we spent with the missionaries in the Eugene zone and I was able t...
