Hey Family and Friends!
It's been a pretty eventful week. I have been out on my mission now for 18 months! It's crazy at the beginning of the mission you never think the day will come. It's been a Fantastic week.
This week was my last Zone conference. Sister Denison and I were asked to teach about setting goals! We decided to take a cooking theme and bake muffins one with extra salt not following a recipe and one with a recipe. We need plans to get the right outcome. It was probably one of the best teaching statements I've ever done at zone conference. Although we didn't have much time to prepare the Lord lead us to what we needed to do and say.
When it is your last Zone Conference, President Orton usually asks you to share your testimony. I had no idea what I was going to say but when President Orton asked me to go and a scripture instantly flew through my mind. "Submit cheerfully to all the will of the Lord." This has been a lesson I have had to learn over and over again on my mission. But I promise as you turn your will to what God would have you do, you will find more joy in your life then you thought you could exspirence. I struggled to get my words through of how to exspress my love for being a missionary. So many tender spiritual moments that day. I felt this zone conference was personally made for me. From the songs, to the topics, to the answers to my prayers, even down to the cafe Rio lunch! It was my favorite zone conference ever. I'm really going to miss these friends and family I have met here.

This week we also had a lesson with Jill and Eric. Jill told us how she was praying this week that Eric would be able to get a job and guess what!? The Lord answered her prayers. He was able to find a job. She really felt like the Lord was watching out for her. We were able to help her read and understand the Book of Mormon. I love them so much!
We also went tracting with Natalie (recent convert) this week. Let me tell you, this new change with missionary work is bringing so many blessings! We talked to sooo many people and Natalie loved tracting. We also had a lesson with her this week where we talked about the brother of Jared seeing the finger of the Lord. Natalie favorite thing to study is Faith. She is such a good missionary member. She has been bringing her little brother to church too!
We had a lesson with Barbara and Nick and talked about patriarchal blessings. It was really good as we related it to the liahona. They are excited for the growth and the more learning they have in the gospel! Sadly Nicks brothers house was burned in the fire in California so they have also had alot on their plate but they are praying and reading their scriptures alot.
I just wanted to leave you with a thought about focusing on your priorities. Dallin H oaks said "Our priorities are most visible in how we use our time. Someone has said, “Three things never come back—the spent arrow, the spoken word, and the lost opportunity.” We cannot recycle or save the time allotted to us each day. With time, we have only one opportunity for choice, and then it is gone forever."
With it being thanksgiving this week I pray each of you will take the time to exspress your gratitude to those who are most important in your life. I love you and pray for you. I'm so grateful for each one of you who have helped me become the person I am.
Love
Sister Leavitt
