Hey Mom! 
Thanks so much for sending me baptism pictures! That means alot to me. 
Question: am I able to put my blow dryer and curling iron in my carry on bag? I just don't want to have trouble going through security. 
Do Lexie and Lainee have basketball games I can go to this week? 
Thank you for your uplifting and encouraging words. I definitely have learned so much serving a mission. It's going to very hard for me to leave. But I'm excited to spend Christmas with you as well. 
When I gave Presidnt and Sister Orton their gift they opened the card first and Presidnt struggled to say under his breath "it must be pay day." It meant alot to him. Thank you for sending that gift. I wrote my testimony as well and gave it to them. They truly are the best!
I'm sorry to hear about your car problems glad you were able to figure it out. 
The girls sound like they are staying busy and working hard. That's cool to hear Lexie has been playing varsity as well. 
I can't believe 18 months has gone by so fast. I look forward to seeing you all soon. I hope one day I can bring you all back to see this place. It's absolutely beautiful!

Dear Family and Friends!   This week was such a spiritually uplifting week. On Thursday we went to zone conference where Elder Scott D Whiting and Elder Adilson De Paula Parrella of the seventy came and spoke to us. They allowed us as missionaries ask what ever questions we might have.  Some things I really enjoyed from the talks was  "it's only after pondering that you receive revilation" we need to practice pondering so we allow the things we learn to sink in and allow revilation to come.  Have you ever been in a conversation where someone talks to you and asks you for advice or questions but they don't allow you time to answer or talk?  Are we allowing the time in our prayers for Heavenly Father to answer us or are we just asking and interrupting because we keep talking?  "make a focus on one thing. Happy Thanksgiving- November 27, 2017

Happy Thanksgiving Family and Friends! I hope you all ate lots of food this week! I definitely have. On Monday-Thursday Sister Wood came to Cottage Grove and stayed with me as we both waited for our new sister missionaries to arrive. It was fun to get to know her better and talk about goals of what kind of a trainer we want to be. This was both of our 2nd time training. Sister Wood & Sister Leavitt We were able to teach Paula on Tuesday and also Destanie. Destanie wasn't sure if she would be able to make it on Sunday so I was super worried because it has been 2 weeks and she still hadn't been confirmed. But no worries she made it on Sunday and everything worked out. It was all the Lords work getting her there lots and lots of prayers. I'm so grateful for Heavenly Father making sure she is there and taking that worry off my shoulders.  We had meetings almost every night in Eugene for the trainers.
