Sis B and I love her! In going to miss her so much she is one of my best friends! Family and Friends!  This week has been full of touching moments. It hasn't been the easiest but God is full of so many miracles!  Selfie with President Orton!  Tuesday and Wednesday we did service like painting a house and also going to hearts with a mission and helping there. Sister Bodtcher had a doctor's appt in Medford but over all it was pretty good.  On Thursday we were out contacting and knocking on doors all day long. And nobody wanted to talk to us. Like nobody! I think we had like one or two 5 minute conversations. It was about 8:45pm when Sister Bodtcher and I were just so discouraged. We were ready to call it a night and get a head start on the next morning. But as we prayed we decided to contact one more person, Steve. We knocked twice and no answer....we were about to turn away when suddenly the door answers. We had a super powerful amazing conversat...

Creator lake it's really that blue! Family and Friends! What a good week! We are going to creator lake today so sorry this isn't going to be as long as my other ones. This week we have been working hard on contacting alot of the people we do have.  We weren't able to meet with Hailee this week because her little boy was sick but we dropped of a family proclamation for them.  We had a lesson with a lady name Krystine. Sister Mousser and I met her mom a while ago and Sister Bodtcher on exchanges went to contact her. And although the mother wasn't interested her daughter (krystine) came out of the kitchen from listening in and wanted a Book of Mormon.  So this week when we had come back she had read the introduction and testimonies and started first Nephi! She took the restoration super well and had lots of questions about the Plan of Salvation! She and her boyfriend love the Mormon church because "they seem to be the ones that practice what they preach....

Elder Echo Hawk- June 4, 2018

Family and Friends!  Sister Bodtcher and I  I really needed the motivation and inspiration from this week. It was an amazing week! We had MLC on Tuesday and were able to talk about how to help the mission move to a higher level. Elder Echo Hawk was so great as he discussed with all of us and even took the time to get to know each one of us.  Then on Wednesday we had Zone Conference. But that morning Sister Echo Hawlk had a sisters meeting. It was a unique opportunity. At zone conference President Orton talked about prayer and how to make it more meaningful. It was a great reminder of taking the time after we pray to listen. That's when we will recieve revelation. Since I have been with Sister Bodtcher she has inspired me to have a prayer journal. And at night I write what I want to pray about and then any thoughts that come to me as I prayed. It has really helped me alot to refocus on what I want to express to my Heavenly father.  Elder Echo Hawlk spok...

Family and Friends!  This week was a bit rough as we have been working with our investigators trying to resolve some big concerns in their lives. But with that said I know it is truly the gospel that brings families closer together.  This week we had interviews with President Orton and it was such a wonderful spiritual experience. And as we talked with Sister Orton, she gave us each DOTS and asked what it means to us to Depend on the Savior. Man so many things rushed through my head in that moment but I shared how I felt it was to rely on him and allow him to help you through your hard times. That each of us have gone through a time when we express to a friend our challenges and they say "I know how you feel." And the thought goes through our mind, no you don't, you don't truly understand. But the Savior is our friend and he does truly understand because the atonement is so personal and he felt your feeling to understand you! Yes, we all go through similar exp...
