Creator Lake (aka Crater Lake)- June 11, 2018

Family and Friends!
What a good week! We are going to creator lake today so sorry this isn't going to be as long as my other ones. This week we have been working hard on contacting alot of the people we do have. 
We weren't able to meet with Hailee this week because her little boy was sick but we dropped of a family proclamation for them. 
We had a lesson with a lady name Krystine. Sister Mousser and I met her mom a while ago and Sister Bodtcher on exchanges went to contact her. And although the mother wasn't interested her daughter (krystine) came out of the kitchen from listening in and wanted a Book of Mormon. 
So this week when we had come back she had read the introduction and testimonies and started first Nephi! She took the restoration super well and had lots of questions about the Plan of Salvation! She and her boyfriend love the Mormon church because "they seem to be the ones that practice what they preach." Krystine and her family seem to know alot of Mormons and I feel that if she were to make the step of baptism alot of her family would follow.
I really felt like we didn't teach her much because she knew what she needed to do to get an answer. To pray and read for herself. But I love teaching people who sincerly want to know and listen to what you have to share. 
This week I have really understood the power of the Atonement. I am so thankful for the gift that Jesus Christ has given us. That no matter what, we can improve each day. I'm so greatful for the power that it brings into my life each day. I encourage you all to study each day and to come to know the Savior for yourself.

Sister Kiera Leavitt has always wanted to serve a mission! Kiera was blessed as an infant to serve a mission and her Patriarchal Blessing mentions several times about serving a mission.  When the age for girls was lowered, Kiera was ready to go even though she was still years away from age eligibility! She has planned and worked for it intently over the last 3 years.  She set a goal to finish Cosmetology school after graduation from Snow Canyon High School in May 2016.  She very seldom missed a day of school because she knew that she would have to make it up and that would extend her time further to be finished as well as possibly costing her more money if she happened to go over her time limit (in which she never even came close to! But she wasn't going to take any chances!) Kiera graduated from Hairitage Hair Academy in November 2016. Blow The Door Off- March 15, 2018

Zone Temple Trip Family and Friends!  Lots to catch you up on. Hope I can remember everything I did. We have stayed super busy and we are not slowing down. This transfer is just flying by.  So on the 6th we had MLC. Which stands for Missionary Leadership Council. It was my first time going and it was so much fun!!! So many of my past companions were there, like Sister Allred and Sister John! We were able to council all togther of how to help the mission improve and what things we can do. What a huge blesisng it is to see that side of missionary work!  Sister Allred & Sister Leavitt One part I really loved about MLC was goal setting and planning. We talked about how we as missionariesare are really good at setting goals and making plans but we need to have a vision. Zone conference! Sept 19, 2017

Dear Family and Friends!   This week was such a spiritually uplifting week. On Thursday we went to zone conference where Elder Scott D Whiting and Elder Adilson De Paula Parrella of the seventy came and spoke to us. They allowed us as missionaries ask what ever questions we might have.  Some things I really enjoyed from the talks was  "it's only after pondering that you receive revilation" we need to practice pondering so we allow the things we learn to sink in and allow revilation to come.  Have you ever been in a conversation where someone talks to you and asks you for advice or questions but they don't allow you time to answer or talk?  Are we allowing the time in our prayers for Heavenly Father to answer us or are we just asking and interrupting because we keep talking?  "make a focus on one thing.
