Family and friends! What a great week! We got snow!!! Yes it was very cold and I didn't expect it but it melted by the evening time so that was nice.  So Paula from my last area in cottage grove got baptized this week! I was able to Skype with her after her baptism and she was just glowing! It's such a blessing to be able to use technology so that I could be able to see her and talk to her on her baptism day. She is a little nervous to be confirmed on Sunday because she doesn't like big crowds. However she is so excited to have the gift of the Holy Ghost! Paula's Baptismal Skype! Sister McArthur and Paula w/Sister Leavitt on Skype Paula in her whites ready for Baptism! We had dinner with the Morrison's this week they are in our ward. This crazy world keeps getting smaller. Their son just got home from his mission in Germany. He trained Elder Dylan Parry! It's fun to be able to hear about other missionaries ...

Dear Family and Friends! So leaving Cottage Grove has been pretty hard I didn't enjoy saying goodbye to people. So many people there have my heart and I just keep praying for them. I was however excited because they said the weather in Grant's Pass was warmer hahaha yeah snow this morning made me think otherwise. But I hear St George is in the same boat. Haha Yesterday at church it was hailing and this morning we woke up to white all over town.  The Beacon Hill ward is absolutely amazing. I got here on Tuesday and met the ward mission leader his name is Brother Jessee. He is a convert and has had many stake callings and was a bishop for a long time. So his passion for missionary work is through the roof! We walked into this room to meet him and church books are all over the selves everywhere. He has read every single one! He can pull out scriptures like nothing. He said if I ever had any questions he can answer them for me. Ahhhh I believe it!!!  because he sent me...

Family and Friends! So I'll be honest this week was a bit slower because Sister McArthur has been sick.  So I was a bit locked up inside.  But even upon being locked up I felt I didn't have enough time to study.  I would read from the Bible, then the Book of Mormon, then I would pick a topic to study, then write my talk, then read a Conference talk.  It's crazy even you feel you have all the time in the world it passes by so fast.  Anyways as you know I am being transferred to Beacon Hill which is in the Grant's Pass zone.  I was Called to be a Sister Training leader which mean I will be planning exchanges with the Sisters in my Zone and helping them out.  My new companion is Sister Mouser!!!! We roomed together in the MTC.  I am so excited to see her again because I haven't seen her in the mission yet. However I am really going to miss this place.  Cottage Grove has my heart.  It was such a privilege to be able to spe...

Zone conference! 3021 copies handed out  Family and Fiends!  What a week! We had Zone Conference on Tuesday we had 4 or 5 zones all there together it was a blast to see everyone there. We talked about online prosolyting and hearing how other missionaries have been using it as well. It was nice to get new ideas. President Orton talked about the power of the Book of Mormon and my favorite part was when he had all the misisonaries who will be leaving this Transfer share their favorite Book of Mormon scripture. (Sister Brown was one of them) No matter who you are there is a scripture in the Book that was written just for you. I invite you all to find your scripture as you read.  We had quite a few lessons this week. Brittney! She is the most prepared person I have ever met. The Elders came to our area at the beginning  of the transfer and found Brittney but we have been having a hard time getting in touch with her. It had been two weeks...

Walking though the mud.  Dear Family and Friends!  This week we went on exchanges with the Sister Turning Leader on Campus. I still had no voice but maybe that helped people feel bad for me as I tried to talk to them. Hahaha We found at least 5 new people for the sisters to teach. So that was exciting! That night we also went to a YSA activity with some of the people the sisters are teaching. It was a blast! We played ultimate Frisbee and It was just nice to enjoy the work by building friendships and loving people.  This week we have had some amazing miracles with finding I just wanted to share a few with you.  1st Brandon. We met him at the gas station a few weeks ago. Sister McArthur dared me to give him a Book of Mormon and you can never not take on those challenges. So I gave him a Book of Mormon and he said he would read it when it got slow. So we have gassed up our car a few times since and every time Brandon is there! But he hasn't read it :( so ...
