Holding a chicken from Sister Johnston's house    Family!  This week we continued to see many miracles. On Tuesday we went and helped the Riverside Sisters paint one of their investigators house. Then Elder Beck took us out to get phosphates. We were greatful for the happy gathering as he scared us the past week because they were pretty sure they would have to take out car. Lucky for us we still have the car! No bikes for us!  This week we met with Tom he is doing really well as he is searching for a new job. He is seeing God answer so many prayers as he is searching for new adventures. He is also really working on finish place that will allow him to have Sundays off.  We were able to meet with the Calves family this week and we read alma 32 with them and they loved how faith grows like a seed. They like to plant flowers and trees in their yard as a family so the were able to relate with this chapter really well. We talked about how we need to take ...

Family and Friends!  Calling my Family!  What a Joy it was to be able to talk with you all yesterday. I loved seeing your smiling faces and the love and support of you all.  I know I already told most of you about my week but here are more of the details.... On Tuesdays it was transfers. Sister Mousser and I went out for lunch before the transfer van came and picked her up. I cried saying goodbye to her. I have appreciated her allowing me to exspress my feelings and that we could both be completely open with each other. She has taught me alot and I know we will be friends forever. At the transfer spots I was able to see Sister Evans (my trainee) who just finished training as well. I haven't seen her in a few months. It was a blessing to talk with her again.  So my new companion is Sister Bodtcher and man does this sister have so MUCH faith! She is hard working and we laugh and enjoy the work every minute. Every night we feel we can not take another ...

By the river  Dear Family and Friends!  What a wonderful week! I don't have much time to write but we had an amazing busy week. We contacted lots of our investigators and happened to set up plenty of lessons for this next week. We also found a lady named Pam this week. She had met the Elders on OSU campus a week ago and they gave her a Book of Mormon. We knocked into her and she said how she really wants to become more spiritual and she said she would read the Book of Mormon! It was amazing just how she had met missionaries the week before and the first door we knocked on that street was her! Phone booth we found while we were tracting. Had to take a picture  This week we got Transfer News. Sister Mousser is leaving and is going to Corvallis and is training. I am so excited for her to have the opportunity to be a trainer. I also found out Sister Shreve is training now too. So both the Sisters I had the opportunity to train get to train as well! I am so exc...

Sick Week- April 30, 2018

Image
Clay sculpture made by Peach Family and Friends! So as the title of my emails said it has been a sick week!  Yep on Thursday, the day we do weekly planning I got so sick.  I slept almost the whole day and that whole night. It was not fun. Plus I felt bad because Sister Mousser ended doing most of weekly planning by herself while I was on the floor just trying to keep my eyes open and give input.  So even though it was a slow week, we still had some pretty good time to go out knocking on doors and see miracles!  We got a referral this week from California for a man named John. So we went over there to meet him. He is living out of his van right now. His wife died about a year ago and because her father had given her the land their house was on, and she died before her father, He ended up homeless. His company he owned since then eventually fell part. Now he is where he is and 2 weeks ago found out he has a terminal disease. John is a Miracule! His sister...

Follow the Spirit- April 24, 2018

Sister Mousser, Sister Wood (goes home this transfer), Sister Hung (goes home this transfer), me  Dear Family and Friends!         I usually try and end with a spiritual thought but I think I will begin with one because then you will see how it helped me throughout this week.  President Lorenzo Snow said “This is the grand privilege of every Latter-day Saint … that it is our right to have the manifestations of the Spirit every day of our lives.” During General Conference President Nelson spoke on how to receive revelation for the church and our own lives. I believe there will be a day when the things of the world will fail us and all we will have is the the signal of the spirit. I believe that the General Authorities of the church spoke on understanding the spirit because at this time more than ever have we needed to understand what the Lord wants us to do. I know it will bring protection into our lives. So many of you like myself m...
